Casinos in Las Vegas: The Mirage

The Mirage in Las Vegas was the first super resort build on Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as The Strip. Steve Wynn spend more money than anyone had ever spent on a hotel and he even had the windows tinted with gold dust. This is why the building looks like a bright shining golden tower, an unmistakably sight in Sin City.

The Mirage was opened back in 1989 and has a jungle-like atmosphere. When entering the building you'll see a beautiful atrium in which many plants and flowers grow. This is of course after you've seen the epic Volcano Show outside in front of the 3,044-room resort. After walking through the welcoming rain forest atrium you enter the main gaming floor. Craps casino tables left and right followed by Blackjack, PaiGow and many other amazing games. The poker room is located in the left corner to the right of the sports book.

Just like many other casinos does The Mirage also have a resident Cirque Du Soleil show. The Beatles show “Love” has been running since 2006 and will give you an entertainment experience you will never forget. Especially when you're a lover of The Beatles music this show becomes a must see!

Besides having a big pool The Mirage also offers a special kind of sun tanning. At “Bare” women are allowed to suntan topless, something which is very rare in the United States. When you've seen enough of the outside sights there's always plenty action to find inside. The Mirage has slot machines ranging from one penny all the way up until $1,000 per spin, so everyone will find their perfect game!
